Job Description:
Utility – Co Gen Facility
This is a full-time, hourly position based in Mankato, MN.

We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities within our Mankato, MN Co-Generation facility. Base pay is commesurate with experience and offers shift differentials.

Assignment
Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

•Shift operation (procedures) and equipment checks
•Water treatment lab tests
•Accurate documentation and record-keeping
•Troubleshoot / general maintenance on equipment and auxiliaries
•Receiving / handling of coal, ash, chemicals, materials

Qualifications
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

•Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
•Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
•Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, shovel material
•Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed
•Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
•Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
•Basic math and problem solving skills are required
•Minnesota 2nd class B Engineering license, equivalent license from another state, military training in boiler operations or relevant degree in power plant operations is required
•Candidates must attempt to progressively obtain a 2nd class A, 1st class A and then Chief’s A Engineer’s License
•Previous experience operating a forklift/payloader/skidsteer is preferred, but training is available
•Candidates are required to provide own means of reliable transportation
