We have an exciting opportunity available for a Management Trainee in our Vegetables Manufacturing Team. This position is a three year rotational leadership development program, working for 1 year in each of the following areas: Master Data, Continuous Improvement and Lean/Six Sigma. Each team focuses on important business and continuous improvement initiatives that have both local and global impacts. 
 
The goal of this program is to offer challenging assignments through hands on experiences as a team member within each function.  The successful candidate will be a life long learner who can challenge the status quo and positively influence others. 
 
Responsibilities in each area include:
Master Data Specialist:
  • Responsible for data entry and maintenance of the Master Data system
  • Coordination of pricing, customer, material, and business structure data changes
  • Providing data analysis support for day to day challenges
  • Develop a basic understanding of the Vegetable Manufacturing business
Continuous Improvement Analyst:
  • Support development of process and systems improvements/optimization affecting safety, reliability, product quality, and unit cost
  • Compile and maintain effective metrics measurement, tracking and reporting tools establishing corrective action plans aimed towards Continuous Improvement
  • Synthesize conclusions into recommendations and work directly with manufacturing teams to implement change
  • Responsible for creation of training documentation, rollout and startup for projects
Lean/Six Sigma focus:
  • Continue to develop and execute increasingly complex improvement initiatives/projects
  • Complete Six Sigma and Lean classes and certification projects
  • Investigate and develop solutions, via analysis of information to quality, cost, lead time, and other challenges


Qualifications:
Required skills/experience:
  • Bachelor&##39;s Degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to travel up to 15%
  • Willing to relocate domestically, this position will require relocation
Desired skills/experience:
  • Project management and leadership experience
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
  • SAP experience
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience
