The Trait Characterization and Development research intern program is a 6-month internship.

The Intern will assist with experimental design of several soybean discovery and transgenic projects at the Lawrence, KS field nursery and off-station locations in KS. Daily activities would include but not be limited to seed packaging, planting, tissue collection, agronomic data collection, entomology evaluations, and harvest. During peak times of the year extended working hours will be required.

In addition, each intern will be expected to have a small research program that they will present at the conclusion of the internship.

This will begin May 2012 and end December 2012.
