Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting the VP of Operations in all capacities in an effort to gain training for future opportunties. This includes, but is not limited to overseeing and directing the Live Production activities and requirements including placement numbers, kill numbers, breeder numbers, and size requirements, participating in overseeing the various plant production activities of product mix, size requirements, and product pack-out, and working in the personnel areas of wage reviews, bonuses, and compensation needs. Project management responsibilities will also be required. Due to the high percentage of travel, the base location of the successful candidate is flexible. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality and legality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent

Experience: 6 plus years

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Travel:Extensive, +75%

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is reponsible for managing several processes and procedures, but has no direct reports.
