Business Unit:Supply Chain includes facilities and processes that operate to manufacture a finished product from raw material and deliver to the end-user. This business unit enhances competitive advantage, efficiency, innovation, quality and consistency.
Position Purpose:Demand Planning - Manage and align demand planning processes to meet demand planning metrics, business objectives, supply chain initiatives, and company goals. Effectively use and maintain the Demantra demand planning tool. Maintain hierarchies. Research, troubleshoot and resolve issues. Maintain data integrity.

Sales and Operations Planning - Work together with Sales, Marketing and Finance to support the S&OP demand planning process (DPSOP) and lead the group to arrive at the best unconstrained consensus forecast. Supply all necessary reports and data analysis. Support the S&OP supply planning and executive S&OP processes as needed. Lead the business through change management.

Teamwork - Enable Supply Planning goals by improving Demand Planning metrics. Work with cross-functional teams on various projects including new product launches, line extensions, etc. Demonstrate sound business decision-making, aligned with company values and ethics.

Systems Design and Implementation - Be a leader and subject matter expert in the Feed ERP and Demantra implementation project.

Communication - Use appropriate communication methods to respond to data/forecast related issues. Facilitate DPSOP Meetings and effectively lead change management.

Shape the Future - Help to identify and implement improvements to demand planning best practices and optimal system use to meet or exceed key performance indicators.
Required (Basic) Experience &

Education:We seek a 4 year degree with 5 - 7 years experience in demand planning, production planning, mathematics, statistical forecast modeling, operations research, or marketing. ERP and Demand planning systems implementation experience. Creative problem solving ability, strong communication and facilitation skill sets. Computer skills - ERP, Demand Planning, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.


Required Competencies & Other Skills:Problem Solving/Analysis, Decision Making/Judgment, Deliver Results, Communication, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Shape the Future.


Preferred Experience & Education:Graduate Degree, APICS certification, Project or change management experience, S&OP, Other.

Individuals with an Animal Feed or Agriculture background are highly preferred.
