Job Description:
SUMMARY: This position is directly responsible for sales, business development and assisting multiple departments of The Bruss Company in order to maximize the long-term and short-term goals of the business unit. Other responsibilities include coordinating sales efforts within The Bruss Company network of national accounts to achieve goals of the business unit; assisting in maximizing sales realizations; coordinating all functional areas to ensure customer proposals and needs are addressed effectively and efficiently; providing management reports to provide insight to the success of the total business unit. The position requires interaction on a daily basis with Sales, Plant Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, R&D, Quality Assurance, Accounting, and other internal support groups as well as internal and external customer base. REQUIRMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years' experience in Beef and/or Pork Value Added Sales is preferred. Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint a must. Communication Skills: Strong verbal presentation skills and strong writing skills are a requirement. Special Skills: Creative problem solving skills are a plus; excellent interaction skills, goal oriented, overall positive and productive approach. Travel: 2 to 4 trips annually.
