The Research Associate (RA) will be joining a state-of-the-art mass spec laboratory that is focused on implementing tandem mass spec for high throughput (HTP) target protein quantifications to help develop biotechnology traits for modern agricultural industry. The RA will primarily perform HTP quantitative LC-MS/MS sample analysis including sample preparation, mass spec instrument operation, mass spec data processing and reporting. Other duties may include strong interactions with other lab researchers and customers to contribute to LC-MS/MS system trouble-shooting and process improvement.

Ensures the work location or group function efficiently by performing a variety of duties using a wide range of procedures when conducting experiments and analyzing data. Assembles and analyzes data of specific problems while initiating action within standard procedures.
