Business Unit:Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.
Position Purpose:This position is responsible for providing the highest level of talent acquisition consulting and support. Strategically manage full-cycle recruiting as well as the candidate experience through sourcing, screening, behavioral interviews, validated assessment tools, selection, offer and onboarding. Responsible for building relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, candidates, and the external community. Creativity and innovation is required to present qualified and diverse candidates for positions with very unique requirements. Develop and implement targeted recruitment initiatives, effective processes and best practices in a fast paced and customer centric culture. Support idea generation, research and new sourcing techniques while contributing toward continuous talent acquisition process improvement. Accountable for open communication, maintaining exceptional service levels and being a partner in driving change across business units.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education:BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business or equivalent work experience. 5-9 years full-cycle recruiting. Proven talent acquisition strategies to attract qualified, diverse candidates for positions with unique and challenging requirements.
Required Competencies & Other Skills:Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills at all levels within an organization and externally. Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills. Proven results in developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies to include diversity recruiting. Demonstrated proficiency in marketing/sourcing techniques to include: lead generation, internet, cold calling, and social media interaction. Strong process/detail orientation, with an emphasis on client service and follow-through. Ability to manage process and high volumes, while driving change. Demonstrated ability to recruit nationally. Knowledgeable in various employment laws including those of EEO and AA guidelines. At least 2 years of experience utilizing an applicant tracking system and proficiency with MS Office.
