Job Description:

UAP is a leader in the supply of agriculture crop-inputs and one of the largest major retailers, distributors and formulators of crop protection products in North America.  We are a division of Agrium Inc, who is a leading global producer and distributor of fertilizers and other agricultural products and services. Our business is growing and we are currently looking to expand our team.
 

Product Coordinator
Location: Dorchester, ON – Regular Full Time Opportunity


Help Develop Marketing Programs for Dealer/Grower

  • Identify high input crops that suit the UAP Priority Products
  • Help Develop marketing programs targeted to specific crop needs
  • Responsible for adding to Database of Key Grower/Dealer information
  • Evaluate, measure results of dealer/grower programs
  • Work within budgets set by Marketing Manager

 

 Support Top Priority Products

  • Work with Marketing Manager to monitor and analyse products and how they fit in the market and placement of competitors
    • Develop database of product specifications
  • Create PowerPoint presentations of Key features and benefits
  • Work with Marketing Manager to provide information at Dealer Meetings
  • Work on project plans as requested by Marketing Manager


Seek ways to promote UAP and UAP products.

  • Detailing products at dealer or grower meetings
  • Tradeshows
  • Gather market information
  • Communicate with the Customer Service on programs rolling out

 

Ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures

  • On-time reporting
  • Must be able to travel throughout territory, as required (Ontario)
  • Ensure all expenditures are fiscally responsible in order to minimize expenses and maximize profitability
