*This role will provide the direct technical support interface to the renewable fuels customer base for pre-trail, trial, commercialization, and optimization of the Enogen technology.
*As a key technical member of account teams, this role will take accountability for identifying and recruiting potential customers, as well as securing their understanding and optimal use of the technology.
*Provide validation of our technology performance, sustainable realization of value delivery to the customer, and a high level of satisfaction.
*Work with customer's organization to understand, adopt, and optimize technology performance.
*Understand the value proposition of our technology and help customer achieve optimum value.
*Work safely and efficiently on customer's site to provide assessment of process performance before and after implementation of Syngenta's enhanced grain technology.
*Build and share solid understanding of technical trends and performance related issues at the plant as well as industry wide levels.
*Be a solid integrated member of account management teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience: *Minimum of B.S. degree in a hard science or engineering, or equivalent technical training.
*Ideal candidate would have a degree in chemical or process engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, or fermentation science. Other science or engineering degrees would be acceptable given sufficient relevant industry experience.
*An MBA degree is desirable.
*5 to 8 years of process industry experiences, including multiples of process and breadth of process, as well problem solving, continuous improvement, and leadership roles. Extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience in the dry grind ethanol industry.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
*Experience and capability in developing dry grind ethanol plant operating models used to estimate potential value of process improvement technologies. Created models will be part of an integrated technical sales tool kit used to calculate potential processing benefits based on operating parameters of individual dry grind ethanol plants.
*Proven, effective written and oral communication experience.
*Customer and/or vendor facing experiences a plus.
*Experience with DCS software, DCS interfaces, and data management systems.
*Candidate must have proven ability to effectively assess and troubleshoot the industrial process and effect rational actions to secure sustainable value improvement.
*Ideal candidate is an outgoing person with excellent communication skills who can balance the need for technical expertise and stakeholder relations (internal & external).
*Candidate must be able to interact with all levels of (external) plant personnel and effectively communicate technical matters, which can be understood and acted upon. Successful candidate must work independently and with minimal direct supervision.
*Candidate must be flexible to accommodate changing needs and schedules.
*Candidate must be able to educate plant personnel in proper utilization of Enogen and be willing and able to dialog with stakeholders on performance gaps and problems.
*Candidate must be able to tailor approaches to fit the individual stakeholder.
*Candidate will need to have a respect for accuracy and details but as be capable of consolidating the picture and drawing conclusions.
*Candidate must readily utilize high quality communication capabilities across a range of complex and tense issues (listening, speaking, writing).
*Candidate must be able to resolve customer issues/concerns in an expeditious manner with high customer satisfaction.
