Role Purpose/Accountabilities:

Program Overview:

When you are a Professional Intern with Syngenta, you will gain hands-on experience in your chosen field of study. During this paid internship, you will be assigned a mentor, work on your own individual project, and have the opportunity to job shadow experts in the field. In addition to managing your project, you will attend skill development workshops and have exposure to company leaders. Syngenta also provides opportunities for cross-functional job shadowing in other areas in the company.

Focus Areas to Choose From:

· Seed Production Management

· Supply Planning & Logistics

· Production Research

· Agronomy

· Engineering

Critical Success Factors & Key Challenges:
· Pursuing a career in seed production management, agronomy, production research, supply chain, or related discipline

· A minimum of 3.0 grade point average is desired

· Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication skills and strong work ethics.

· Possesses a thorough understanding of production agriculture. Experience in the seed industry is an added plus!

· Excellent technical writing, and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal communications and group presentations.

Students will be required to have satisfactory results of a pre-employment background check, drug test and driving record evaluation.
