Administrative Coordinator - Business Development Services

Business Unit:Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.
Position Purpose:This position will provide administrative support to the Business Development Services Team supporting our Coop recruiting and Consulting business needs. Responsibilities include: assuming primary responsibility for coordinating a wide range of administrative projects and programs in support of the Placement Recruiting and Consulting Team. This role serves as a point of contact on any business development service inquiries from employees, vendors, co-op customers, recruitment candidates, etc. Duties include handling a variety of correspondence, phone coverage, filing, office supply maintenance, travel coordination, meeting coordination (large and small meetings), processing invoices, etc. Will provide back-up support to other administrative team members within the area -- some cross-training essential.
Required (Basic) Experience &

Education:Bachelor's degree (or pursuit of degree) strongly desired along with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant administrative support experience supporting large and remote teams; Advanced computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Required Competencies & Other Skills:Effective communication skills, able to work openly and share information across a team; Ability to work independently or as a team member; Anticipates and adjusts for problems; Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy; Demonstrated flexibility; Strong organization skills with a process-improvement mindset and ability to effectively prioritize workload; Must be detailed in a fast-paced environment with a strong Customer Service Focus.

Preferred Experience & Education:Prior H.R. or Recruiting administration experience desired.
