Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a company who is searching for an International Sales and Marketing Manager to develop an outstanding sales organization that delivers industry leading sales growth and profitability for the Agricultural Products Division.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Management

Focus sales organization of goal setting, forecasting, budgeting, market analysis, account management, and dealer development.  Set and achieve sales and profitability goals that are aligned to the overall division budget.

This would include:

Marketing plan for the International market, which is consistent with the corporate marketing plan

Prepare and monitor marketing plans for individual international markets

Projecting the international sales on an annual basis and reviewing sales trends on a monthly basis

Reporting trends in the international marketplace

Ultimately responsible for account management

Manage product allocation, inventory levels, and distribution to the different countries

Work with the credit department to make credit decisions

Build corporate, business, and personal relationships with key accounts.

 

Marketing Management

Understand and anticipate marketplace opportunities, issues and trends.  Use this knowledge to develop strategies and action plans that optimize the business results for the company.  Monitor actions and assumptions and revise plans accordingly.  Assessing competitor’s activities and reacting accordingly.

Recommend pricing strategies to the General Manager that will maximize market share and optimize net income.

 

Product Development

Provide input into the product development process based on your experience in the international marketplace

QUALIFICATIONS:  Candidates must meet position qualifications and have demonstrated the necessary technical or job skills:

-5 years experience in agricultural equipment sales is a must.
-A farm background with other sales experience will be seriously considered.
-Willingness to travel over 50% of the time, worldwide.
-Possess a strong, stand alone character with exceptional presentation skills to represent the company.
-Self Sufficient.
-Organized.
-Previous International Sales experience not required
