Research Associate for Arlington, WI to work in multi-disciplinary corn research team; coordinate/support trait conversion testing, data collection, analysis; draft reports; oversee field operations; interact with conversion nurseries, Trait Field Solutions Testing/Breeding Programs; oversee all aspects of compliance with USDA, EPA regulations for transgenic material; coordinate with winter nursery to facilitate transfer of germplasm; scout research locations. 

Requires Bachelor's degree in Plant Breeding, Agronomy or closely-related field; 3 yrs agricultural crop research experience. Will also accept Master's degree in said fields & 1 yr stated experience.  Background must include working with logistics in a winter nursery program; complying with federal requirements for handling transgenic materials; managing nurseries; scouting research locations; using corn research planting equipment; selecting germplasm; complying with ISO requirements. 10-15% domestic/int'l travel required.  Mail resume to Cascinda Fischbeck, Monsanto Company, 800 N.
