The Plant Pathology Intern will be an integral part of the Field Pathology & Plant Diagnostic Laboratory Teams. The intern will receive hands-on training in the area of plant disease diagnosis, and disease screening of hybrids. There will be opportunities to work with other members of the Plant Pathology Team, including experience in inoculum production, field inoculation and disease characterization. The intern will have a laboratory assay research project that they will present at the conclusion of the internship. Position duration is mid May/early June thru December 2012.
