We currently have a Programmer/Analyst 1, 2, or 3, position open at our Corporate Headquarters in Boise, ID. 

Overview:

Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Design, code, test, and debug, documents, and maintain those programs in a web environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and debug programs; analyze problems or weaknesses within system or logic and make changes to ensure program integrity and performance.
  • Designs data processing system that satisfies requirements specified in analysis document and conforms to departmental standards for technical quality.
  • Serves as a technical resource to System Analysts in developing system analysis documentation to ensure performance.
  • Design, develop, implement, and monitor data flow systems for transmission of business data. 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university 

Programmer/Analyst 1

  • Two plus years related experience and/or training.
  • General experience and understanding of web based programming languages. 

Programmer/Analyst 2

  • Eight years plus year’s related experience.
  • Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis, and programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
  • Must be fluent in several web based programming languages. 

Programmer/Analyst 3

  • Ten plus years related experience and/or training.  Work at the highest technical level, within all phases of application development.
  • Have the ability to; provide technical leadership to less experienced programming staff regarding a variety of tools available in computer systems to ensure their efficient and effective use through training, development, and documentation of standards, policies, and ongoing support.
  • Proven ability to act as a technical resource to ensure tool selection is appropriate to system objectives through the analysis of new tools, current knowledge of existing tools, and modifications to those tools that are proposed for a project.
  • Experience in analysis, computer resource allocation and capacity planning is critical.

SALARY : PG 41, 43 or 45
