Mechanic/Service Manager of Cattle Company

Very successful cattle company seeks an experienced Mechanic/Service Manager to take over a successful, fast-paced service department for approximately 40-50 pieces of used agricultural equipment.

Position Description:

  • Manage the Service Department, including service technicians, providing guidance and counseling as necessary.
  • Must be comfortable performing repairs and running diagnostics on a variety of equipment as well as leading mechanics
  • Maintain knowledge of agricultural equipment; remain current in trends in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical inclination.
  • Preference will go to candidates with management experience but willing to train someone with a strong Mechanical background.
  • Able to lead employees and comfortable with coaching and providing feedback to resolve issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
