Recognized leader in the food industry seeks steam boiler mechanic in their northern CA facility. This individual would take ownership of the entire steam generation system. The qualified candidate, would understand steam generation equipment, process flow, and effectively troubleshoot problems with those systems. All preventative and restorative maintenance on the steam plant and related equipment would be performed by this individual. This would include boilers, pumps, motors, turbines, chemical systems, fire pumps, and related equipment. The ideal candidate must be a "hands-on" type of a person who isn't afraid to get dirty, skilled communicator, honest, decisive and able to work independently. In addition, candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills and understand steam generation, fluid theory, and basic physics of pressure and temperature.
