The primary responsibility of this role is to develop effective training tools to be used to train and inform the BioScience community of Stewardship best practices and train Regional Stewardship Managers and others in the Stewardship Function on how to use these training tools effectively.
The candidate will: Develop a basic understanding of the Stewardship Program in order to design and develop effective training tools that can be used by others to train BioScience personnel on the important aspects of the Stewardship Program. Work with Regional Stewardship Managers to train them on the most effective use of the Stewardship training tools for training BioScience personnel. Create templates and design standards for all Stewardship Training materials and content to promote consistency and professionalism. Establish methods for defining training needs (needs analysis) and delivery methods to maximize efficient knowledge transfer of Stewardship requirements. Conduct annual planning to establish training goals and requirements for the function. Develop and implement online web-based training for the BioScience community. Develop and administer training competency evaluations to measure awareness and understanding of the Stewardship Program. Maintain the Global Stewardship Wiki Database with terminology and definitions. Develop and maintain a Learning Management System (electronic tracking of training delivered). Develop and maintain electronic system (Intranet / SharePoint) to facilitate easy access to available training materials. Monitor and document the Stewardship training of personnel in BioScience. When necessary, work with others in the Stewardship Function to support logistics and planning for group or function meetings. Assist in the preparation of important presentations as needed. The selected candidate is required to possess the following:
Degree in communication, education or proven experience and expertise in these fields. At least 5 years' work experience within an international and diverse company environment. 3-5 Years of Instructional Design experience or related education. Experience with knowledge base and blended learning models and methods. High organizational and relational ability with a high degree of autonomy. Proven high performer in multitasking in a challenging high pressure environment. Good communication and presentation development skills. Knowledge of web-based communication tools. Very good oral and writing skills. High level of computer/IT skills, especially in SharePoint, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications Second foreign language skills a plus. Flash / eLearning Development skills a plus. LMS experience a plus.
Salary and grade level will be commensurate with experience and/or education level.
