Global Crop Supply Lead for St. Louis, MO agricultural/biotechnology company to develop Vegetable Crop supply; oversee production planning, global inventory administration, long range planning, budget submission; assist in continuous improvement of processes; develop long-term production, supply strategies; develop/ensure that crop supply strategy is aligned with business crop strategies, production strategies; monitor efficient working capital in crop inventory; hire/supervise employees; train/develop employees to increase skill set, facilitate professional growth; recognize/address employee disciplinary problems; oversee performance reviews, DPR goals, ratings; oversee supply team initiatives to improve production reliability of key materials; work with QA to define Seed Health, Quality requirements; assist with customer complaint investigations.

Qualifications:

Requires Master's degree in Agronomy, Business or closely-related field; 3 yrs international logistics/production planning and supply chain management experience at an agricultural company. Will also accept Bachelor's degree in said fields & 5 yrs progressive, post-Bachelor's stated experience. Background must include preparing crop or seed production plans, purchases to satisfy supply/demand using SAP manufacturing tools; monitoring inventory quality, control; analyzing/improving crop or seed supply chain; developing crop supply strategies; managing/leading people.
