Agronomy Specialist

$60-$75K

A very successful agriculture company is expanding and is in need of an experienced Agronomy Specialist. This position requires the management and coordination of day-to-day activities that take place on a large sized crop-producing farm operation.

This family-owned business strongly believes in working together as a team to produce great crops, all while building and maintaining ethically sound business relationships.

Qualifications:

*5+ years agronomy experience
*strong communication skills

Duties include:

*Coordinate field activities involving chemical and fertilizer applications to be completed in a timely manner
*Research and keep updated on new products, technologies, and methods
*Monitor plant growth
*Assist with irrigation programs and water records
*Prepare and implement annual agronomy plan
*Implement and maintain yield mapping and potentially Precision Ag
*Assist with other general teamwork activities
