Operations Specialist

Business Unit:Winfield Solutions is an industry leader in crop protection and farm seed products, providing insights an expertise in this area. Our brands include AgriSolutionsTM crop protection products and CROPLAN GENETICS seed.
Position Purpose:Responds to complex service inquiries, accommodation requests, and service complaints. Tests policies/procedures and associated quality to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure quality service results.

Serves as a technical resource for customer service and management associates. Serves as a knowledge expert to associates and assists with daily problem resolution related to the administration of transactions. This includes in depth understanding of systems, services, products, workflow, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Develops and enhances workflow and procedures. Contributes to the development of high level business requirements for improving systems.

Resolves and supports the resolution for the most sensitive and technically complex service inquiries or complaints. This includes the management and processing of complex transaction reversals and developing solutions for seasonal processes, system issues, and error resolution.

Supports managers in developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with Partners, coops, and sales associates. Serves as a liaison and coordinator with other WinField departments to provided coordinated transaction support, procedural continuity and complex case support the sales team.

Ensures that all procedural documentation content is accurate and up to date.

Supports the WinField Solutions departments by testing policies, procedures, workflow, and associate quality to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Accountable for executing established testing schedules of policies/procedures and workflow to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepares reports for compliance sign off by department management including department head.

Supports the daily management of service delivery by personally completing case work as necessary for periods of high volumes, complex transactions, and to meet new business objectives.

Compiles and coordinates data for reporting transaction results for management.

Completes special projects as necessary to meet business objectives.

Performs related activities as directed and manages personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in a changing environment.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education:4 year degree in Ag Business, Business, Agriculture, or relevant program
2-3 years customer service experience
1-3 years accounts receivable and transaction processing experience

Required Competencies & Other Skills:In depth knowledge of operations practices, procedures, workflow and business needs.
In depth understanding of seed business cycle.
In depth knowledge of division issues that must be addressed and coordinated when resolving complex service requests or complaints. This may involve communication with Supply, Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Information Systems.
Strong analytical skills for problem solving.
Demonstrated accounting skills to effectively communicate the administration of prepay, invoices, tax calculations, etc.
