Operations Analyst - East

Business Unit:Moark, LLC is America's second largest marketer of fresh shell eggs, delivering top quality products to retail, industrial and foodservice customers coast-to-coast.
Position Purpose:Provide support and assistance to the Operations team, including financial analysis, monitoring of Key Performance Indicators, implementation and tracking of strategic initiatives, and developing financial projections. Provides financial and operations analyses that enable the business leaders to drive decisions. This individual will assist the General Manager in making daily operations decisions. Assists in the implementation and management of strategic operational initiatives including maintaining tracking and reporting requirements. Analyzes financial performance and provides observations and recommendations to Division Manager and Operations Manager on Key Performance Indicators. Work with operations leadership to identify areas of opportunity, formulate potential solutions and track implementation of solutions to ensure accountability. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual results analysis (actual performance vs.. budget and prior period). Prepare month end reporting and variance analyses, assist with development of monthly Scorecard and explanation of variances. Perform root cause analysis for unexplained variances. Provide analysis and reporting of operational metrics to assist manager in driving performance improvement.
Required (Basic) Experience &

Education:Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, engineering or related field is required. Minimum 3 years experience in finance, accounting or other analytical role in a manufacturing setting providing operational and financial analysis.

Required Competencies & Other Skills:The ideal person should have thorough understanding of business metrics and trends, with the ability to incorporate into business decision including root cause analysis. Analytical and financial modeling skills. Project management and multi-tasking skills. Comfortable working with senior management. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Knowledge of Windows suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Work & Access) and MS Outlook. Strong work ethics, highly motivated and action oriented team player.

Preferred Experience & Education:Experience in an animal/agriculture/manufacturing environment is highly preferred and an MBA or Master's Degree is highly desirable.
