International Team Leader

Business Unit:Land O'Lakes Dairy Foods division is a leading marketer of a full line of dairy-based consumer, foodservice and food ingredient products across the United States.
Position Purpose:Manage and direct activities of Land O'Lakes Global Ingredients international sales team consisting of direct employees and sales agents in key international geograhpies. Drive execution of business strategies to develop strategic relationships at key customers. Ensure international team has knowledge of and access to the full array of Land O'Lakes capabilites.

Directly manage team of four Sales Managers to achieve sales volume targets on full portfolio of Global Dairy Ingredients products in key international geographies

Indirectly manage exclusive Sales Agent relationships that help extend reach of Land O'Lakes sales organization

Account lead on select strategically important multi-national customer(s)

Manage a consultative, team selling process involving R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Upper Management.

Effectively interface, communicate and influence people at all organizational levels, up to and including senior management, within the customer and at Land O'Lakes.

Evaluate and recommend projects and strategic opportunities in terms of ROI, long-term growth potential, use of member milk, and the ability to provide sustainable competitive advantage.
Required (Basic) Experience &

Education:Minimum 4 yr degree
Minimum 10 yrs B-to-B sales experience
Experience leading team of direct reports
Dairy Industry experience strongly preferred

Required Competencies & Other Skills:Consultative/strategic selling experience
Proven track record of effective cross-functional team leadership - internally and externally.
Superior presentation, written/verbal communications, analytical, business and technical skills.
Proven ability to provide vision, inspire enthusiasm/passion, and drive creative solutions

Preferred Experience & Education:MBA preferred

Preferred Competencies & Other Skills:Multi-lingual
