Associate Marketing Insights Manager

Position Purpose:The Assistant Marketing Insights Manager is responsible marketing research project management including writing project proposals, defining sample requirements, monitoring data collection, data analysis, interpreting data and writing reports.
In addition to executing custom and syndicated marketing research projects, this position will work with the Marketing Insights Manager to identify information needs, develop research plans, integrate trends, and past research findings.
This position reports to a Marketing Insights Manager or Sr. Manager.
Required (Basic) Experience &
Education:Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Sociology or Psychology.
2-5 years of marketing research supplier and/or manufacturer consumer packaged goods marketing research experience.
Required Competencies & Other Skills:Strong analytic and critical thinking skills .
Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities.
Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience with IRI and/or Nielsen POS and household panel data.
Preferred Experience & Education:MBA highly desirable but not required.
Preferred Competencies & Other Skills:Experience in Agricultural Marketing Research
Experience with survey software and statistical software.
Percentage of Travel:20%
