Plant Management Trainee Function:Quality Position Location:CA-Tulare-400 S Territory (if applicable): Supply Chain Business Unit:Supply Chain includes facilities and processes that operate to manufacture a finished product from raw material and deliver to the end-user. This business unit enhances competitive advantage, efficiency, innovation, quality and consistency. Position Purpose:Responsibilities include developing a foundational understanding of all plant processes including production, maintenance, quality, safety, logistics, planning, finance and human resources while also developing the leadership competencies necessary for success in manufacturing management. Learn applicable internal and external (company and regulatory) requirements associated with the functional areas assigned. Learn key performance metrics and how they drive overall plant performance. This position is intended to be a training position for future development into a Plant Manager within Supply Chain manufacturing. Upon successful completion of the program, expected career progression would be a Production Supervisor position either in the current location or another within the Supply Chain. Willingness to relocate after the training program is a requirement. Required (Basic) Experience & Education:Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, agriculture, or related field. Required Competencies & Other Skills:Computer proficiency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, unquestionable integrity, customer focus, detail oriented. Maintain complete and accurate records. Creativity/Innovation, Decision Making/Judgment, Team Leadership, and Organization/Planning. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve plant operational objectives. Driving Results, Managerial Courage and other duties as assigned. Must be oriented toward process improvement, self and team development. Preferred Experience & Education:Exposure to dairy manufacturing or general production environment is preferred.
