Cargill has an opportunity for a Data Entry Specialist in Russellville, AR. This position will be responsible for managing weekly data entry, reports and inventory on assigned farms while maintaining Producer and Field Manager relationships and other duties as assigned.
50% - Data entry and verifying information entered into Pig Champ weekly is correct and that reports reflect correct information on assigned farms.
15% - Managing inventory between farm, pig Champ, and CSS on assigned farms. Perform production event reconciliation and animal inventory reconciliation.
10% - Maintain data integrity by verifying data is accurate before it is sent to end users and that established data management processes are being adhered to.
10% - Working with the Producer, Field Manager and Supervisor to resolve data management issues that arise and help establish data management processes.
10% - Providing Producer and Field Staff with accurate reports that can be used to make effective business decisions.
5% - Other duties include logging weekly paperwork at the beginning of rotation week, posting mail for department and misc projects.
- High School Diploma
- Data Entry Experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to accurately and consistently execute detailed processes and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with others within the team, contract producers and Field Managers
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Intermediate Excel Spreadsheet skills
- Proven strong ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to accept change in a positive manner
- Associate Degree
- Background in agriculture
- Prior experience with reconcilliations
- Working with multiple systems
