QUALIFICATIONS:
*Authorization to live/work in the EU is required.  Location close to an international airport necessary.  
*Bachelor’s degree in Business or an Agricultural Science discipline;
*Advanced English communication skills (speaking, reading and writing);
*Additional European language (at least one) a requirement (German, French, Spanish, Russian);
*Minimum of 5 years channel management and development with quota carrying experience required;
*Experience in agricultural distribution a must, GPS technology sales and/or precision agriculture an advantage;
*Ability to clearly and concisely communicate a value proposition; professional business approach and demeanor a must;
*Knowledge of European agriculture market; industry contacts a plus;   
*Multi-country distributor management experience.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
Top priorities will be increasing sales volume, identifying and closing valued-added reseller partner opportunities in key markets and gathering market information that positions the company for continued success. Territory responsibilities include but are not limited to Western and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet states.
*Meet and exceed territory distribution sales targets;
*Accurately forecast distributor sales and order demand, providing management with  a rolling 12 month forecast and clear visibility into the next 90 days;
*Identify and close new distribution partnerships in key target markets;
*Support Company OEM activities through prospecting and site visits as coordinated with the OEM sales team;
*Capture and communicate market requirements and pricing and related competitive developments in a timely, organized, concise manner;
*Interact with distributors to identify product sales issues/market barriers and communicate same to management at company headquarters;  
*Develop documentation necessary for sales success;   
*Provide excellent distributor sales support and drive customer satisfaction;
*Manage expense budget and provide dotted line supervision responsibility for European Service Manager;
*Report and document all sales and development activities; experience with CRM  tools such as SalesForce is a plus.
