Land OLakes is hiring for an Agronomy Sales and Precision Ag Consultant to work out of an innovative member cooperative located in north central Indiana.

The Agronomy Sales and Precision Ag Consultant will be responsible for developing and building lasting relationships with local growers. Typical daily activities and responsibilities will include diagnosing weed, insect and disease pressure in crops, developing solution-oriented recommendations to growers and promoting the WinField R7 tool.

A background in seed sales, crop scouting and nutrient management as well as experience with precision Ag technologies is important for success in this position.


Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 4-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, accounting, and precision ag software.

Candidates should have or be willing to obtain and maintain a CCA certificate as well as any other appropriate certifications including valid drivers license and insurability at all times. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work longer hours seasonally/as needed.
