Happy Holidays from AgCareers.com
The AgCareers.com team wishes you season’s greetings and a prosperous New Year! Looking back at 2011, AgCareers.com has many things to celebrate and we look forward to an exciting 2012.
The AgCareers.com website experienced enhancements in 2011 to make it more efficient and user-friendly for both our employer clients and job seekers. We look forward to more enhancements in the upcoming year!
Early in 2011, we released the 2010 Agribusiness Job Outlook Report for both the U.S. and Canada which reviewed the agricultural job market in 2010 to enhance planning for 2011. We will soon begin analyzing the past year’s results to create the 2011 report!
We’ve continued to build our strong following for this e-newsletter by featuring job opportunities and helpful articles every week. Through our partnership with AgrowKnowledge, we bring you the Skill and Trade e-newsletter, and we also launched the new University & College Online Contact Database in March of 2011.
In August, we hosted our 9th Annual Ag HR Roundtable attended by more than 190 people from 90 different agricultural organizations, businesses, colleges and universities (our highest attendance yet!). In September, we published our 5th annual Ag & Food Employer Guide in the U.S. and our 4th annual edition for Canada.
Our Compensation Benchmark Review and Agribusiness HR Review have continued to grow with the addition of more participating companies supplying valuable data. In October, we released the Agribusiness HR Review for the U.S. and Canada. This report provides market knowledge, data and trends in agribusiness human resource practices for 2011-2012. For the first time, the HR Review is available to download free of charge on the AgCareers.com site!
We hosted a variety of educational events in addition to our annual Roundtable, including online webinars on diverse topics. We’re employing our largest group of Collegiate Ambassadors yet, with ten ambassadors located at universities across the United States and in Canada for the 2011-2012 school year! AgCareers.com also attended numerous career fairs and trade show events where we built and strengthened relationships with job seekers, employers, students and collegiate representatives.
Our social media presence has grown substantially throughout 2011 by sharing exciting content and promotions such as Career Tuesday, the Employer Guide QR Code connection and more. AgCareers.com launched a new enhanced Facebook page in 2011. We started our “Video Challenges” with agricultural college students to create entertaining, educational videos that are shared on the AgCareers.com YouTube Channel. We thank all of you that are following AgCareers.com on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. If you’re not already, please connect with us to stay up-to-date on the latest in job search strategies, opportunities and HR practices in the ag industry!
AgCareers.com is grateful for the support of our employer clients, collegiate contacts, job seekers and industry friends! We look forward to serving you in 2012! As always, we welcome your feedback, comments and suggestions at any time of year: email@example.com .
Happy Holidays from the entire AgCareers.com Team!
