  Your Role: Senior Maintenance Specialist
  
  The Sr. Maintenance Specialist will report to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering. This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation and management of the preventative maintenance and calibration systems at the site.
  
  Your Responsibilities:
  
  

  • Managing and implementing the site preventive maintenance program and the site calibration program.
  • Assist maintenance staff in troubleshooting difficult problems or equipment failures to help reduce equipment downtimes and help train and build a strong maintenance staff resulting in a reduction of equipment failures and expenses.
  • Assist in the development of future plant expansion validation and commissioning protocols. Will work directly with engineering and contractors in these upcoming plant renovations.
  • Responsible for procuring and directing outside contractors for specialized activities such as validation, calibrations, filter certifications and lab instrumentation certifications and responsible for training on all applicable SOP's per Quality Assurance guidelines.
  • Work with maintenance and engineering to develop systems aimed at lowering operating costs and reducing risks or equipment failures.

  Your Role: Technical Services Manufacturing Scientist - Downstream
  
  The Technical Services & Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) Scientist is responsible for providing Primary and/or Secondary loop technical support for commercial downstream operations at the Elwood, Kansas monoclonal antibody (mAb) manufacturing facility. The position is a subject matter expert with respect to mAb products and processes and is engaged in tech transfer, scale-up, process optimization, validation, monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities. The TSMS scientist plays a key role in day-to-day operations and delivery of technical projects.
  
  Your Responsibilities:
  

  • Provide technical and on-floor support for the commercialization, manufacture, and life-cycle management of monoclonal antibody products. This includes troubleshooting, participate in product and process related technical investigations and root-cause analyses of process deviations, complaints, and OOS/OOE events.
  • Act as the Process Teams product and process subject matter expert for purification processes which may include chromatography, tangential flow filtration, and centrifugation.
  • Use scientific and statistical analysis tools to improve process understanding, ensure manufacturing processes are capable and operating in a state of control, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop / execute projects to address process performance issues and deliver improvement opportunities.
  • Author and provide critical review of technical documents including, but not limited to; batch records, SOPs, PFDs, process recipes, risk assessments, investigations, technical studies, protocols, and reports.

  
  
  What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Bio/Pharmaceutical Technology, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Assists in loading trailer with materials.

  Cattle Procurement Associate Position:
  
  Associates will be trained in a number of areas to learn skills and gain knowledge vital to succeed in a procurement leadership role. After training, the associate will be placed in a territory that will be theirs to lead. In this territory they will purchase grain fed cattle to be sent to one of Cargill's harvest facilities. The Cattle Procurement Associate role enables the individual to become familiar with the workflow of the operations, and to develop knowledge of meat processing production, including food safety and overall production management.
  
  As an Associate, you will understand meat processing production, including process flow, yields, variances, USDA regulations and requirements, accounting, and information technologies. This position will also receive additional training in people leadership skills, OSHA requirements, ergonomics and safety training, HACCP, good manufacturing practices, coaching, and Human Resources practices. You will be exposed to all facets of the plant operations through an in-depth general orientation. The training is crafted to teach the various aspects of the business prior to placement in a role that aligns the candidate with business needs.   Your Role:
  
  An operator is responsible for performing and documenting all tasks and activities associated with biologics manufacturing at the Elwood, Kansas monoclonal antibody (mAb) manufacturing facility.
  

  • Execute and monitor core mAb manufacturing processes (media/buffer prep, upstream/downstream processing, formulation, fill/finish, secondary packaging).
  • Maintain cGMP compliance in a regulated environment (USDA/FDA/EMA).
  • Follow SOPs and batch records precisely for equipment operation, processing, and daily tasks.
  • Perform aseptic manipulations and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Support equipment preparation, maintenance, and process improvements, while interfacing with QC for sampling and environmental monitoring.

  
  
  What You Need to Succeed ( Minimum Qualifications):
  

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows/Microsoft Office) and communication (written & verbal).

  Your Role: Quality Control /Environmental Monitoring Technician
  
  Environmental Monitoring / QC Technician Microbiology will report to the QC Supervisor, Microbiology or equivalent. This position will conduct routine and non-routine environmental monitoring of the manufacturing facilities and associated utilities , as well as microbiology analysis.
  
  Your Responsibilities:
  
  

  • Conducts Environmental Monitoring: Performs routine and non-routine sampling of manufacturing environments (air and surfaces) and utilities (WFI, USP Water, Pure Steam, Clean Compressed Air). Maintains gowning qualifications for sterile environments.
  • Ensures cGMP Compliance: Upholds cGMP, safety, and environmental standards within the QC lab, generating accurate and compliant data. Participates in internal assessments and audits.
  • Performs Microbiological Testing: Executes routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and stability samples. Conducts a variety of microbiology tests, including bioburden, sterility, and microbial identifications.
  • Supports Investigations and Deviations: Assists in the investigation of out-of-specification/out-of-trend results, environmental monitoring excursions, and deviations. Contributes to the preparation of Certificates of Analysis.
  • Develops and Maintains QC Methods: Assists in developing, qualifying/validating, and transferring new test methods. Contributes to the writing and revision of testing methods, specifications, SOPs, and validation protocols/reports.   Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Associate Position:
  
  The purpose of this position is to develop and train individuals that have recently graduated from college to prepare them to take on roles of increased complexity across the Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (FSQR) job family at various locations across Cargill. As part of the FSQR Associate Program, Associates will go through an extensive on the job training program that enables them to become familiar with the workflow of the business operations, and to develop knowledge of processing production, including good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), food safety, quality, process control and regulatory compliance.   As an FSQR Associate, you will gain an understanding of processing production with primary emphasis on monitoring the processing activities of the various departments within the facility. By starting your career as an FSQR Associate, you will be exposed to all facets of business operations through an in-depth general orientation.   • Daily assessment of process quality parameters and food safety and quality systems, including raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, auditing, and oversight of analytical testing performed in operations control rooms.
