The work environment for this position is a warehouse/outdoor environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud and occasionally very loud. Role Overview:

The Chemical Plant Operator II is responsible for taking daily inventory, unloading and loading raw materials and finished goods, as well as helping in any of the other operational departments. Chemical Plant Operators are also responsible for using and maintaining the equipment used to blend chemicals.

Inspection of crane, associated equipment and applicable rigging necessary for safe and productive operation
Lead and train stevedore personnel in operations and care of stevedoring production assets
Oversee crane/rig insuring that care, housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance is maintained to Company standards
Coordinate with shift lead and rig crews to accomplish safe and productive crane operations
Complete a variety of required forms electronically and on paper
Lead rig personnel in completing required training and documentation
Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management
Job Requirements:
Previous experience operating cranes in a stevedoring environment
ADM approved crane operator certification or ability to obtain one within 90 days
Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of the Shift Lead or operations management
Ability to execute and assist with inspection and maintenance of crane and associated components, including but not limited to general maintenance, cable changes, lubricants, and bucket maintenance
Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents
Computer skills sufficient to safely and productively operate crane and complete a variety of reports and documents
Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending upon identified needs of the rig or vessels. Working extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays also required

POSTION SUMMARY :

Responsible for manufacturing feed in accordance with standard operating procedures established at the feed mill. This position will be responsible for operating the computer automation systems required to receive ingredients, grind grains, mix and pellet feed. Operate the processing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. In addition to feed manufacturing the operator will perform housekeeping activities, quality checks on feed and ingredients maintenance and repair of equipment. The lead person is also responsible for compliance with all company policies. Local, State and Federal policies, laws and regulations.

WILL BE RESPONSIBLE :
Operate the pelleting, grinding and batching equipment
Manufacture feed according to quality assurance policies and GMPs
Collect sample ingredients and perform quality assurance tests
Perform micro handling & house keeping duties
Monitor equipment and processes reporting issues to management
Comply with company, local, state and federal laws regulations
Must be able to dispatch and receive in ingredients if needed

Operating equipment and technology tools throughout the facility which may include
mixers, batching, mills, grinders, packing, weighing, palletizers, etc.
Collecting product samples and supervising tank levels, utilizing computer systems
to input and record data as necessary

What You Will Need:

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

Assists in loading trailer with materials.

Unloads trailer by using forklift or hand truck.

Transports loads over required route to proper destinations.

Removes empty skids from trailer truck and carries them to designated piling area.

Performs miscellaneous service duties on vehicle including checking oil, water, gasoline and air in tires on a daily basis.

Laborer is responsible for housekeeping and operational functions, as well as other various operational functions of the plant. This role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Facility runs 24/7 operations. Schedules will vary & will work a rotating 12 hr shift schedule. Overtime required as part of the normal schedule, call out availability, and an on-call rotation.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assist in all areas of loading, unloading, and transferring of grain and grain products

Operate conveyance equipment utilized in shipping, receiving, and transferring of grain and grain products

Operate safety systems associated with facility equipment

Visually monitor grain and grain products for irregularities and take appropriate action upon discovery

Remove choke-ups and clean spills

Clean and prepare storage facilities

Guage and report product levels in storage, barges, trucks, vessels, and railcars

Daily equipment checks and other routine checks

Assist in all grain handling functions

Operation of skid loader, front end loader, and other location specific equipment

Maintain current training requirements

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
