Customers, buyers and other agencies request a food safety plan. At first, writing about farm operations can seem daunting, but creating a food safety plan can be accomplished simply and efficiently. I help farm operations describe their practices clearly, simply and accurately.

Food safety starts on the farm and ultimately affects everyone. Most farms and farm operations already incorporate good agricultural practices (GAPs), and only need to document them.

If you need a food safety plan, risk assessment, program development or training, I can help. I have conducted and supported more than 200 farms with this process in the last few years.
